We need a new thread sooooooooo............ what welding helmets do you use? I've just got myself a Speedglas 9100 and I think it's great.  Expensive though.

Hi herbs, I have heard good things about the lincoln 210c and its good to see that your happy with it. Can you give us a basic run down on how it performs. As far as welding helmets go i have a miller digital elite and it works really well with no issues with it. The only thing that i dont like about it is that its a bit top heavy and you need to tighten the head piece fairly tight to keep it in place. Maybe a better designed head piece and balance of the helmet will fix this up. It has a light state shade of 4 and it would be much better if it was a shade 3 which will improve where to weld when in a darker enviroment.
