Unfortunately this forum has suffered a flat tyre and seems to be going no where in a hurry. So, if you are a lurker and have been reading threads and enjoy what is on this forum feel free to put up a post yourself. You can do this in the provided area and you dont need to be a member, but this is the only section where you can do this, If you wish to post in all the other areas of the forum you will need to register and therefor become a member.
If this forum does not pick up careful consideration of its future will come into play and lets hope that it does not come to that. We all benefit from each others contributions of ideas and thoughts and we would love you to jump on board and join in.

I've been in limbo for almost 12 months with everything packed waiting on new housing. We've now relocated to Wendouree (Ballarat) been here 3 weeks and while waiting the building of 2 kit sheds all my workshop stuff is in the dining room. one 2.6m x 3.4m shed will go under the carport the other the other behind the carport wall all welding will have to be done out doors but at least I'll have somewhere to house my drill press, lathe grinder, belt sander etc.

Hi Damien, good to see you back on the forum. What made you move to Wendouree? I guess that you will feel settled in once you put up your sheds and have that place we men like to hang out in. If you get some time post up some pics of the progress.

Rental cost forced the move the choice governed by somewhere to sail the RC Ships I build, it took 2.5hrs each way Springvale to The lake at Boxhill by train where we are in Wendouree we are only 2km from the lake and $125p/w is much better than the $260p/w that the Springy south place went to haven't yet found a steel supplier within scooter range Bunnings will have to do for now. Pic's coming soon

Hi Damien, hopefully the move will put a few more $ in your pocket and make things a bit easier. I guess the only problem is that you have left one cold place to go to another and throw the wind in as well. I hope the move goes well for you mate and more time playing with the boat.

It turns out the lake is a rich persons lake they mow the rowing course and the left over crud floats on the surface and clogs props within minutes so building air boats and paddle boats now.
