Hi all, If you are silly enough to start your HF on your tig welder and keep it on and place it very close to your finger on the other hand, you will experience a nice spark between the two. Anyway this leads me to a web page i came across recently. www.tesladownunder.com/ Dobre

Hi Dobre and folks
Most would expect a boot ( an electric shock). Its quite different in practice.HF will only travel over the surface of an object, including your body) while the Ouch stuff travels through you. So long as you don't earth out you are OK.
Add this to your list of welding trivia.

Sometimes the arc on the tig welder goes like that and its time to regrind the tungsten.
