Hi Damien, It looks great mate and it will do the job well. I dont see why you can not have a small trailer behind the buggy as it is not different to the little capsule for kids behind a push bike. It is great to see that you have more time now doing your hobby and dont have to travel so far.
Love to see some pics of it on the water. Are you a member of a club there or do you just do your own thing?

Hi Dobre, I was a member of the Surrey Park Model boat club at Boxhill there's none in Ballarat though I'll put out feelers and see if there's any interest and perhaps start a club there is a model yacht club but they sail at Lake Learmonth about 18km away so not an option for me. I bought a push bike trailer for carting kids around and converting it, it's about 12cm too wide and towing bar needs changing I have found a steel and welding fabrication about 3km from me for my steel supplies good news.
As you said it is getting colder lol but we are enjoying it here there is so much more support for the disabled here than in Melbourne. I'll get some pic's of the mess in my shed soon. Cheers Damien.

Having been told there is another scooter rider in Ballarat that has a small trailer he tows around, I bought a kiddie capsule and modified it to carry my models.

Another project needed I had a nasty fall launching the tug last week ended up in the lake. I deed a launch ramp the breaks down to 3 - 30cm x 1m sections. tentative drawing after dangling a tape measure in the water length has been has been changed to 3m. I would prefer Aluminium for lightness and no rust like steel, but not having ally welding equipment, I'll probably go with 19mm angle.
